Carrie Cecelia Foley

Carrie Cecelia Foley, a beloved resident of Green Valley, California, since 1995, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on June 5, 2023, after a valiant battle against breast cancer. Born on April 15, 1968, Carrie's vibrant spirit and devotion to others touched the lives of all who knew her. Carrie was a dedicated Realtor, a profession she wholeheartedly embraced since 1999. However, real estate was more than a job for Carrie. She was known as an agent with infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for others. She saw real estate as a way to make dreams come true for others and make lasting connections within the community. While real estate was her profession, Carrie's greatest joy and fulfillment came from being a devoted mother. Her love for her four children, Ryan Foley (32), Davis Foley (30), Matthew Foley (27), and Tana Foley (25), knew no bounds. Carrie was blessed to travel all over the world with her children including Hawaii, Mexico, and throughout Europe. Carrie treasured every moment spent with her children and found true happiness in their laughter and shared experiences. Anyone who knew Carrie knew that she lived life to the “Foleyest.” If Carrie was not hosting a party herself then she was probably attending several others. The beach held a special place in her heart, where she would often seek solace and find peace in the crashing waves. Her love for travel allowed her to explore new horizons, experiencing different cultures and broadening her perspective on life. Carrie also had a guilty pleasure for Taco Bell and she could never turn down a bean and cheese burrito with a coke. Carrie was a warm and welcoming individual, and knew how to make anybody feel at home. A true people-person, she possessed an innate ability to connect with others and effortlessly make them feel valued and loved. She relished the opportunity to make new friends, while treasuring the time spent with those she held dear. Perhaps Carrie’s greatest trait was her selflessness and desire to help others. Carrie could accomplish anything for a friend in need, even if it was something that she was unwilling or unable to do for herself. Carrie leaves behind a cherished legacy and a loving family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Carrie is survived by six siblings, her mother, Nancy Dahlberg, and her four children: Ryan, Davis, Matthew, and Tana. A source of immense happiness were her three grandchildren, James Foley (5 months), Mila Cecelia Foley (5 months), and Cooper Foley (4 months). She adored them beyond measure and found tremendous joy in witnessing their growth during the time she had with them. A memorial mass to celebrate Carrie's life will be held on at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 475 East I Street, Benicia, CA 94510. It will also be live-streamed at https://youtube.com/live/CVSrdWt35ew for those that cannot make it in person. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and pay tribute to the remarkable woman whose impact will endure through the ages.
