JERRY LYNN WILLIAMS February 13, 1952 – February 27, 2020 Jerry Lynn Williams, 68 of Vallejo, Ca passed suddenly on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born Feb 13, 1952 in Vallejo, Ca he was the son of the late Fred C. Williams and Marjorie C (Diebert) Williams. Jerry graduated from Hogan High School in 1970 before becoming a tanker truck driver and heavy equipment and diesel mechanic. Jerry loved the outdoors and spent countless hours on his boat at Lake Berryessa skiing, fishing and camping with friends and family. He loved NHRA drag racing, boat drags, air shows and car shows. Jerry was an avid lover of music and had a special appreciation for the blues. He loved catching shows at the Empress Theater in Vallejo and the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico. Jerry lived most of his life in Vallejo growing up on Hargis Ave. He raised two children in Vallejo who he was proud to call his best friends. Jerry loved sports and watching his grandchildren play baseball over the years. He was a Giants, Warriors and 49ers fan and loved the bay area in general. Jerry loved all animals especially his dogs. There wasn’t a dog he met that didn’t love him and he referred to all of his dogs as his fur kids. Jerry always had a joke to make you laugh and a gift to talk to anyone which added to his “toolbox” of life knowledge he shared with so many. Jerry spent his later years in life with his soulmate Mary Carll in Magalia Ca. They enjoyed going for rides in the mountains and finding the backroad ways around Butte County. They often took rides to the casino, local restaurants or just exploring around the area. The mountain life, tranquility and peace and quiet brought him so much joy. He enjoyed sitting on his porch and watching the trees and deer in his yard while sipping on a good cup of coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jim, Doug and Anne. He is survived by his son Eric Williams and his daughter Deanna Williams and grandchildren Anthony Smernes and Vincent Ponce. His life partner Mary Carll and her children Shannon (Tim) Hargis & Darrin Fitzhugh and grandchildren Myranda, Semele and Izzy. He is also survived by his brother Michael “Will” (Ava) Williams. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 13th at 1:00pm at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee Street, followed by a Celebration of Life at Vallejo Moose Lodge, 337 Nebraska Street.
