Sharyn Ann Hubert (Rudnick) March 17, 1947 – October 16, 2022 Sherie, affectionately known as “Mom” to many whose lives she has touched throughout the years, peacefully passed at the age of 75 at her home in Vallejo, CA on October 16, 2022, due to a year long bout with a gastric illness, coupled with complications from long time Alzheimer’s disease. Life Events: Born in Salt Lake City on March 17, 1947, Sherie grew up in Sacramento, Vallejo, Rancho and Napa. The majority of her life in Vallejo. At a very young age she was recognized for her kindness, gentleness, and compassion for all living creatures with a special devotion to dogs & horses. She graduated high school from Napa High in 1965. After high school, Sheri attended classes at Solano Junior College. After school, she met and fell in love with her life partner of 53 years, Gene Hubert. At the age of 22 she had her first child, Dean’na. 2 1/2 years later Steven was born. Sherie, being so caring, loving and devoted, knew her life’s mission had begun. Sherie, not only raised her own children, but was lovingly known as “Mom” to countless others throughout the years who truly looked at her as a “second mother”. As her own children grew, being so dedicated to helping others and putting smiles on peoples’ faces, Sherie worked as Sharibell the clown, painting childrens’ faces at Marine World. After doing this for a number of years, she continued to dedicate herself to others, going out into her community and doing charity and fundraisers as Sharibell the clown. In 1989 Gene & Sherie joined longtime friends Frank & Jean Johnson as partners in R&J Honda Yamaha. Where she worked with Jean on bookkeeping. Shari loved this venture due to the whole family had a hand in the business and she was able to work with her family daily.She was a key player in R&J Honda Yamaha community service including bring The Ride for Kids (a ride for pediatric brain tumor research) to Solano County which has raised over 20 million dollars in the past 29 years. From there, new opportunities to be of service presented itself. Sherie, volunteered at the Vallejo Police Department and help start the Vallejo Neighborhood Improvement Program where she was apart of the board for several years. Sherie, had the opportunity in 2002 to work for Pace teaching art & sign language where she served for almost 20 years putting smiles on the face of all she came in contacted with. If you asked what her most favorite & proudest accomplishments was; she would say being a Mom and “the best” being a Grandma. She loved just being whether it was a dance party’s, tea party’s, Legos, arts & crafts, fieldtrips, camping or quiet time (like watching a sunset) . Sherie was a champion barrel racer, prestigious bowler (200 Club), accomplished artist, motorcyclist, community advocate, animal lover (special love for dogs & horses), devoted: wife, Mom, Grandma, aunt, cousin, and friend. Most of all a kind and loving human that her only goal was to give happiness to the world. She touch everyone she has ever met with kindness and smile. Son, Daughters,Grands & Greats of the heart: Daughter: Tonya Davis her daughter Granddaughter: Cassie Davis her children; Great Grandson: Adon Thomas & Great Granddaughter:Adaya Thomas Son: Craig Black, Daughter: Linda Black their daughter; Granddaughter: Katie Black her son; Great Grandson: Asher Davidson, Daughter: Laura Langley, Jasmine Schlabes, Tina Spenard, Missy Chiles, Kristen Perino her children Granddaughter: Alexis Boseman & Grandson: Andre Boseman, Granddaughter Kaleigh Wilson. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 29th at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Inurnment will be private.
