Allen B. Barker August 18, 1960 – September 4, 2012 Allen B. Barker, 52, of Vallejo passed away Tuesday at home peacefully with family and friends by his side following a brief battle with cancer. A native of Berth Amboy, New Jersey, Allen was a long time resident of Vallejo. He was the owner and operator of heating and air conditioning company CA Mechanical. Allen also had a profound passion for coaching, every weekend you could catch him on the softball field with his girls. He took great pride in the teams that he coached and in the girls he got to know and love. Allen also enjoyed fishing but most importantly golfing with his friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include wife of 16 years Corey; children, Nicolette, Katelyn, Briana, Stuart, Alycia, and Sheina; parents, Allen(Donna) and Carmen(John); brothers Byron(Denise), Christopher(Darlene); sister Donal(Tony) ; four grandchildren; mother-in-law, Kate Swanson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4pm. to 9pm. with a service at 7pm. on Sunday, September 9 at Twin Chapels Mortuary, Vallejo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Monday, September 10 at St. Basils the Great Catholic Church, Vallejo. Burial will follow in St. Vincent’s Catholic Cemetery Vallejo. A reception and the continued celebration of Allen’s life will immediately follow at the Vallejo Classic Car Museum.
