Carolyn Jean Ingle, 81, passed away Saturday in Vallejo of natural causes. Carolyn was born February 21, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama to Homer and Laura Pierce and graduated from Murphy High in Mobile in 1952. She served our country for 4 years in the U.S. Navy stationed in Bainbridge, Maryland where she met her first husband, Sullivan Gambone. She moved to Napa in 1970 and worked as an administrative assistant for Audiology Company in Vallejo for 20 years. In 1972 she remarried to Kyle Lieber. Carolyn was an accomplished singer appearing on the Teddy Mack variety show in the early 50’s. She also was a huge animal lover and was a great contributor and supporter of local animal rescue organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Donald Pierce; and her sister, Delores Madison. Survivors include her son, Douglas Gambone; daughters, Patricia (Steven) Boe, Laurie Cavagnaro, Caryn (Delos) Green, and Andrea Lieber; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25th and funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26th at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo.
