GEORGE F. QUENGA November 12, 1933 – October 8, 2013 George Fejaran Quenga, 79, passed away Tuesday at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo following a long illness. George was a life-long resident and Vallejo native born to Manuel and Remedios Quenga on November 12, 1933. He graduated from Vallejo Evening School and served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the Automotive Industry for 20 years and was a Wal-Mart associate for 16 years. He loved bowling and poker, enjoyed playing men’s softball especially on the Hawaiian travelling team and was a faithful and avid 49ers fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Ragsac; and his brothers, Joe, Frank, Manuel and Thomas. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patricia M. (Dacong); daughters, Maria Quenga Todd Robertson and Georgina Fields; son, George (Corky) II; sisters, Juanita Quenga and Elena Cabot; brother, George Cabot; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service with military honors will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 19th at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo.
