Jaime Quijano Francisco Sr.

May 1, 1934 - April 19, 2022

Jaime Quijano Francisco Sr., 87, of Vallejo, CA passed away on April 19, 2022, after a short illness. Jaime was born on May 1, 1934, to Francesca and Enrique Francisco in Cavite, Philippines. After graduating from Francisco Law High School, he joined the U.S. Navy in 1952. On May 7, 1960, he married his hometown sweetheart, Gloria Estacio, in Cavite, Philippines. Jaime and Gloria went on to have three sons: Eugene, Edwin, and Jaime Jr. In 1974, Jaime retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Yeoman after 22 years of service. Jaime would spend the next 20 years with Navelex Electronic Systems at Mare Island Naval Shipyard where he retired as the Administrative Security Officer in 1994. Jaime spent the early years of his retirement life supporting his wife Gloria in running their successful 20-year import business, Gloria’s Imports, until Gloria’s death in December 1999. Jaime enjoyed many things, but he especially enjoyed cooking for the family, fishing, carpentry, and being surrounded by family and friends. Family was always his priority, and he was a selfless and loving person to all, but especially with his grandchildren. In 2001 he met Rosalinda Guevara from Marinduque, Philippines and they were happily married in July 2003 until her passing in July 2021. Jaime and Rosalinda enjoyed an active social life that included traveling with many of their friends during their 17-year marriage. Jaime was predeceased by his wives Gloria (1999), and Rosalinda (2021), parents Francesca and Enrique Francisco, son Eugene, brothers Alberto, Modesto, and Drs. Jose and his wife Loida, and sisters Tarcila, and Lucita. He is survived by his sons Edwin (Janet), and Jaime Jr. (Arlene), grandchildren Amanda, Adam, Hannah, and Jalen Francisco as well as half-sisters Arsenia Leonides and Lucita Robertino. Funeral arrangements are being overseen by Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee Street, Vallejo, CA April 28, 2022: Viewing - 4 PM – 9 PM @ Twin Chapels Mortuary. April 28, 2022: Vigil - 6 PM – 7 PM @ Twin Chapels Mortuary. April 29, 2022: Mass - 1 PM @ St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 1200 Tuolumne Street, Vallejo, CA April 29, 2022: Burial - 2 PM @ All Souls Cemetery, 330 Glen Cove Road, Vallejo, CA
