Scott Alan Taylor, 42, passed away Wednesday, September 1 at David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield from complications related to COVID-19. Scott was a kind and generous soul. He would always be happy to lend a hand or give to people in need. He was a proud veteran and he did his best to contribute in helping fellow veterans. He was a prankster and loved to laugh and be at the center of attention. He loved water sports and water in general. He had so much fun with his camping family at Ponderosa Park. Scott and Duke spent so many evenings with his new found family sharing food and having fun. He has touched many lives and he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, mother, uncle, aunt, his Ponderosa family and his beloved companion Duke. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, September 10 at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo with Rev. Al Marks officiating. The U.S. Navy will present Militay Honors to his family. Inurnment will be private at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA.
