Alfonso Jose Andrade

Alfonso Andrade, 40, passed away on April 3, 2026. Born on July 2, 1985, in Berkeley, California, Alfonso brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him. From a young age, Alfonso was an animal lover, often spending hours watching nature programs and learning about the world around him. He had a naturally creative spirit and loved arts and crafts, a talent that showed early and stayed with him throughout his life. Alfonso graduated from Sierra High School in Manteca, California, in 2004 and went on to work as a Security Officer. He took pride in his neat, distinctive handwriting something many who knew him remember well. He remained deeply connected to his faith, actively serving his church and dedicating himself to helping others find their own spiritual path. A passionate sports fan, Alfonso could often be found enthusiastically “coaching” his beloved San Francisco 49ers from the comfort of his couch. He brought humor and energy into every room, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a helping hand. Alfonso was deeply spiritual, and his greatest mission in life was to lead others toward faith and salvation. His personal transformation was something he was proud of, and he lived each day with generosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to uplift those around him. He had a pure heart and a way of bringing out the best in people. He is survived by his siblings, Joaquin Duarte Jr., Monyca Duarte, and Claudia Rodriguez; his nieces and nephews, Diamond Duarte, Diego Duarte, Santiago Duarte, Gabriella Duarte, Monicia White, Mateo Roberts, Roman Rodriguez, and Lucia Rodriguez; and his loyal dog, Blue, who was not only his protector but his best friend until the very end. Alfonso will be remembered for his unforgettable smile, his joyful spirit, his love of laughter, and the way he made everyone feel seen and cared for. He also had a big appetite and a deep love for his mom’s cooking especially her chicken enchiladas and tuna tostadas. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the love he gave so freely, and the light he brought into the world. Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 24 at 12 pm at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Inurnment will be private.
