Emmalee Pallotta

Emmalee Pallotta passed away peacefully the evening of March 27, 2026 in her home at the age of 93, with her family by her side. Born on September 1st, 1932 in Rodeo CA to Dessie and Glenn Dashiell, she grew up on the Dashiell Poultry Ranch in Alhambra Valley in Martinez, graduating from Alhambra High School in 1950. Her upbringing on the ranch instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for hard work, family, and the simple joys of nature. She married the love of her life, Babe Pallotta, and raised 3 children. Through her husband’s musical career, she formed life long bonds and friendships that she cherished just as deeply as her own family. Her family was her everything and she was their biggest supporter. Her professional career began with General Mills in Vallejo and later continued with Local 373, where she worked until her retirement in 1991. Emmalee stayed active in her retirement, working product demonstrations in local grocery stores and volunteering her time in the Gift Shop at Sutter Solano Medical Center, where her friendly nature and bright spirit touched many. During her lifetime, she was a member of the Catholic Social Service and attended many Sons of Italy functions, where she found community, connection, and joy in tradition. She had a deep love for both creativity and the outdoors. In quiet moments, she found peace in knitting and crocheting, crafting with care. She also had a natural talent for gardening. Each garden she cultivated was a reflection of her. Whether tending flowers or hosting loved ones, she brought beauty and life to everything she touched. Emmalee never liked to sit still and was never one to miss an occasion if it could be helped. She supported her husband through his musical career and loved to entertain. Her home was a gathering place where holidays, celebrations, and everyday moments were shared with warmth and generosity. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, and her legacy of hospitality will be missed. She will fondly be remembered for her boundless energy, her generosity, her resilience, and her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her 3 children, David (Alyce), Antoinette (Cortez), and Scott (Krissy); her 4 grandchildren, David Jr. (Suzy), Danielle (James), Vincenzo (Victoria) and Angelina (Jason); her 7 great grandchildren, Destiny (Sam), Nathan, Zachary, Andrew, Maile, Lexi and Dominic; and her 4 great great grandchildren, Griffin, Weston, Walker and Grace. She is also survived by her devoted sister Joan Grinols and numerous nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sister Vivian Howard, brother Glenn Dashiell Jr, her loving husband Babe Pallotta in 2006 and her grandson Anthony Pallotta in 2014. The Pallotta Family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Services will be coordinated through Twin Chapels.
