Our History

Our History

Voted the #1 Funeral Home in Solano County the past 7 Years by the Readers of the Vallejo Times Herald

Twin Chapels Mortuary is a third generation family-owned and operated full service mortuary with an on-site crematory. The mortuary was opened by the McDonald family in the 1950s and purchased by its current owner, the Passalacqua family, in 1973.

Our crematory was built in 1999, with the intention of providing families in our area with reliable cremation services from a trusted funeral home. In fact, we are the only on-site crematory in Solano County, and offer scattering of cremains service in the Carquinez Straits. But, we offer families more than they often expect, including complete traditional funerals to immediate cremations – and anything in between.
